The Pin Up Life Style

I am truley inspired by the 1950's Pinup era and am ALWAYS excited to bust out a strong red lip and winged cat eyeliner. 
I am constantly surrounded by friends who feel the same way, so i've been lucky to have created the pin up look on numerous occations. 
Monthly i get the opportunity to be MUA for the beautifully talented, burlesque performer Miss. Magenta & Host, the lovely Helena Darling at Reflections Cabaret's Rockabilly Riot.

A couple months back Melanie Titus gave me the opportunity to be MUA and model for a promo shoot for a local Bluesy, Rockabilly, Country band The Trouble Shooters. The shoot was sooo much fun, what a great enviroment at the Seahorse Tavern with the quarky band members, amazing photographer, my best friends and the bands concept couldn't have been anymore inspirational. Here are a few of the many amazing images from the set.

One more for good measure, this is from Barries Texaco in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. 
Had the chance to go there for my best friend Helena Darling's birthday this September. Barrie has so many awesome antiques and oldschool props and setup. I highly recommend stopping in and visiting his Texaco the next time your in Bridgewater.
